Recently, a colleague of mine began to seriously question the future of Palm. They have been in shadows of the Blackberry (RIM) and iPhone for years now. iPhone is kicking some butt with their apps. • Combination of touch screen & keyboard:I love the feel of the Palm in my palm (sorry couldn’t resist!). But seriously, it’s a nice little device to carry around and with slide down keyboard, you get the best of both worlds.
• The charger: Ok, this one isn’t a deal breaker, but it’s worth a mention. The Palm connects to the charger magnetically. It’s a really slick design and I love it. I would take this charger over my iPhone docking station any day.The downside? It doesn’t have the 100,000+ apps that the iphone offers. It’s also only available on the Bell network which is restricting for loyal Rogers and Telus clients.
