Online Store Offers 50% off GC’s

Grooster.com is a new website based on group or flash buying. Grooster.com makes gift certificates to some of Vancouver’s hottest restaurant’s, salons, and retail shops available at 50% off. Today for example, you can purchase a $50 gift certificate to Kobe’s Japanese Steakhouse for only $25. The quantities on these offers are limited, however, and are usually only offered for a 24 hour period which encourages buyers to act fast or they’ll miss out.

The website features Buying Lithium a counter for purchases made on the offer so far and a count-down ticker to the deal expiry time.

There’s two ways to find out about these deals. The first is visit the Grooster’s website each day Premarin or you can subscribe to their newsletter which gives you an alert when a new deal is posted.

GROOSTER FOUNDERS:
The website was started in June 2010 by Lesel Radage and Trish Mandryk, two women who are avid travelers and wanted to share the best of the best of each city with their subscribers. This was Lesel’s response to why they started Grooster, “In my travels, I’ve noticed vast differences in the options for ecommerce and on-line shopping in different countries. In Canada there is a huge gap and there is an immense opportunity in the on-line retail and e-commerce space. This coupled with great success in the flash/group buying space in the US, and internationally presented me with an opportunity not to be missed. Grooster will be an intersection point of locals and local businesses, helping to provide locals with exclusive access to the best experiences in the City and growing ecommerce in the cities where we operate.”
